Samal Shepherd

Samal is responsible in providing oversight and relationship management for high-visibility energy management hardware and software deployment projects. Prior to COI, Samal worked in Grant Thornton's Business and Technology Consulting practice. Samal has broad business consulting and technology experiences and has worked extensively with large hospital systems and digital health companies. Samal holds a Masters of Health Administration from Columbia University.

S. Imani Berrien

S. Imani facilitates all communication to customers, scheduling, and providing the best customer excellence to all COI customers and prospects. She also takes the time to research ways to provide what the customer needs and more. S. Imani is always looking forward to leaving each customer satisfied.

Michael Feeley

Mike Feeley leads the business development and setting the company's strategic sales growth. He brings over 30 years of experience in the energy and utility field; most recently focusing on providing solar power and Smart City Solutions to the Caribbean market. A skilled leader with a passion for identifying and capitalizing on real world business opportunities, he has a proven track record of achieving both profitability and customer satisfaction goals for companies including Petra Systems, kWantera, Satcon, Enernoc, and others. Mike holds a degree in Economics with a Minor in Computer Science from the University of South Florida.

An accomplished public speaker and a lover of fitness, Mike enjoys spending time with his family and partaking in outdoor activities, such as sailing, hiking, and scuba diving.

Esteban Caparroz

Full-Stack developer. Esteban is involved in the development and maintenance of solutions implementing the leader technologies. Esteban brings vast programming experiences from industries such as Telemedicine and Energy.

Jose Gutierrez

Full-Stack developer. Jose brings over 10 years experiences in the design and development of web apps built on Angular, EmberJs, Dojo and web services built in PHP and .NET.

SaLisa L. Berrien

SaLisa, Founder and CEO of COI Energy, has over 25 years of experience in the electric power and smart grid space. From working in vertically integrated utilities (PP&L and PECO Energy) prior to deregulation to ConEdison Solutions a deregulated energy services company, and then on to Smart Grid, Clean Tech, Big Data Analytics, and SaaS Solutions. SaLisa holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and an Executive MBA from Saint Joseph's University.

One of SaLisa's core values is philanthropy. She believes that to whom much is given, much is required. Her mission in life is to positively impact the space she occupies by leaving it better off than it was when she found it.
