Job Title: Energy Markets Scheduling Analyst

Position Summary: The Scheduling Analyst is responsible for the bidding, scheduling and optimization of
resources in all markets in which COI Energy participates. In addition, they are responsible for
the quality control of the bidding process, while also running analysis to ensure the
optimization of our portfolio.
Essential Functions and Duties:
To be successful in this position, the Scheduling Analyst must proficiently:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all daily, weekly, and monthly bidding/scheduling related activities in all markets in which COI Energy participates
- Perform analysis on bidding/scheduling to ensure portfolio optimization
- Maintain compliance with all company and market policies and procedures
- Responsible for support of Meter Uptime Compliance, Validations, M&V reporting and procedures
- Collaborate with other teams to form process improvements that optimize the customer experience
- Build, develop, and maintain bidding/scheduling processes and procedures
- Ability or work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- In pursuit of a bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business and/or relevant education and experience
- Experience in Wholesale/Retail Energy Markets preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail
- Must be able to handle a wide work variety and work in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment
- Ability to prioritize efficiently while multi-tasking, dealing with interruptions and working in a high paced energetic environment
- Must be a detail-oriented, organized, self-starter, and have an ability to prioritize workload
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and interpersonal relationship skills
- Must be highly accurate and detail oriented
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in PJM, NYISO, ISO-NE, and CAISO markets
- Energy domain experience (theoretical or practical)
- Energy technology experience with SaaS solutions
